BEST WATERFALLS TO VISIT AROUND UBUD

When coming to Ubud one of the many things you really want to visit are for sure the breathtaking waterfalls often surrounded by lush jungles. As there’re quite a few waterfalls around Ubud and it can seem a bit overwhelming which one to actually visit, I summarised my favorite waterfalls for you to visit in this blog post. I only managed to visit three of them (as most of the time I was just busy with the yoga teacher training in Ubud) but also provide tips for further waterfalls which were recommended to me. I hope that’s helpful for your next trip to this beautiful place on earth!

Lots of love,
Magda

Enjoy a natural shower in the beautiful Kanto Lampo Waterfall!

  • Taman Beji Griya Waterfall
This religious place was truly like a dream come true! You can choose between having the “full” experience with a water purification ceremony (200k) or walking around the beautiful nature and enjoying the place yourself (100k). We decided for the latter and really were amazed by the stunning place. One part of the experience was to scream really loudly at one waterfall to let go of everything before then laughing a lot in front of another waterfall - what an unique experience!
Location: Jl. Mawar, Punggul, Kec. Abiansemal

  • Tegenungan Waterfall
After descending a lot of stairs you are reaching this beautiful waterfall with a natural pool where you’re also allowed to swim (if it’s not monsoon season). There’re many cafes nearby and other photopots such as the “nest” which are free to use!. We also really enjoyed the natural lush small fountains where you’re able to swim as well. The waterfall is for sure one of the most touristy ones, but I would still recommend a visit if you’re around!
Location: Jl. Ir. Sutami, Kemenuh, Kec. Sukawati
