BEST CO-WORKINGS AROUND CANGGU FOR DIGITAL NOMADS

Are you looking for the best co-working spots around Canggu to work remotely with a focused but at the same time inspirational/ entrepreneurial vibe? Then I got you covered as I summarized my favorite five co-workings around Canggu in this blog post. I tried them all and provide my recommendations for whom which co-working might be ideal. Spoiler: I got a membership for bwork in the end (read more why below) and went to Tribal often on the weekends due to the great combination of work & chill with their pool.

My favorite co-workings around Canggu are the following:

  • Outpost, Berawa

  • Kinship, Berawa

  • Nebula, Berawa

  • Bwork, Batu Bolong

  • Boheme, Pererenan

  • Tribal, Pererenan

You can also check out the spots and their locations on my dedicated Google maps list here.

When choosing which co-working is best for you, you should consider the location, so on which side of the short-cut you are located. As I am living on the “left” side, for me bwork and Tribal was handier as I didn’t want to be stuck in traffic when driving to the co-working.

There are of course many more co-workings around Canggu (Tropical Nomad, Dojo etc.) and as well many coffee shops which are work-friendly. However, I wanted to focus on co-workings dedicated to working only and will cover coffee places where you can also work from in another blog post.

What’s your fav working spot in Canggu?
Are there any (new) spots I should check out and add to the list?
I’m looking forward to hearing from you!

Lots of love,
Magda

Best 5 Co-workings around Canggu

  • Outpost
I loved the atmosphere with the bright high ceiling space! You can choose between many different areas (with or without air condition) and also chill at their pool and café. Check their Instagram or Website for special promotions - when I went, it was free to try out the co-working on a Monday. There are also many community events, and you can work from their locations in Ubud (one is next to Alchemy!) as well with your membership!
Location: Jl. Raya Semat, Tibubeneng, Kec. Kuta Utara

  • Kinship Studio
This beautiful place is perfect for all creative minds as you can also rent a photo studio for content production. The industrial boho vibe is really cool, and you can focus on your work in the silent setting. The coffee is also really delicious, and you can get free access for hours when buying a coffee/ something from the coffee shop. Make sure to check out their events on their Instagram page or website!
Location: Gg. Jalak VIB No.4, Tibubeneng, Kec. Kuta Utara

  • Nebula Space
The newly opened Nebula space is an architectural and co-working dream come true! The place offers dedicated desks as well as private offices to rent surrounded by many plants and a cute little coffee shop. There are (weekly) members events and the focus is on building a community rather than “just” working only on your own business - I really liked the place (and their super comfy couch)!

  • Bwork Bali
One of my favorite co-working places in Canggu! I ended up getting a 30h membership, as with this you also get credits for 5 yoga classes at radiantly alive (the yoga shala with a view is on the rooftop of bwork) as well as credits for the meeting rooms for having a call. There are also spots with monitors available, but you need to be there early to catch one. The staff is really friendly (they remember your name after one day at the scooter parking lot) and I really liked the focused vibe! Currently, (autumn 2022) there is a waiting list to get a membership, so if you consider working from there, I recommend you to text them beforehand to secure your spot once you’re in Canggu! I also enjoyed working from the bcafe - you can get a coffee and then work from there with the wifi voucher for 1.5h.
Location: Jl. Nelayan No.9C, Canggu, Kec. Kuta Utara

  • Boheme
No matter if you want to get some work done next to the pool (you can enjoy work & pleasure at one of their day beds, check the min. consumption), in their laid-back café area or in the dedicated concentration area with AC - Boheme really offers a great work vibe for everyone! There is no minimum consumption to use the co-working, just order something and enjoy their delicious food and drink menu. Also the staff is super kind and happy to fulfill any of your (food) wishes (they have adapted the menu already often to make the plates vegan for me).
Location: Jl. Pantai Pererenan No.159, Pererenan

  • Tribal
My go-to place for a relaxed work session/ combination between chilling at the pool and getting some work done afterwards in their open co-working space. Super laid-back vibe on the weekend (quite empty) and during the week full of digital nomads getting their work done. There are multiple seating options available and also half closed rooms for having calls. The first three hours of the co-working are free (you just need to buy something) - but actually they don’t really check your hours. The food is also really delicious (they got me immediately with their falafel and hummus bowl) and the price include tax and service already.
    Location: 942F+GW Pererenan, Badung Regency
