Best 10 (vegan) cafes to work from for free in Canggu:

• Cocomo
  I can’t even put in words how much I love this place. Wawi, the owner, has become such a dear friend and invited me with an open heart to his beautiful restaurant. He will remember your name and will do his best to make your experience at Cocomo the best you can possibly have. There are many seating options inside and outside available, and the food is really delicious! I especially love the smoothie bowl, green juice, avocado toast, scrambled tofu and their nourishing salads!

• Sari Kitchen & Community
  One of the first spots I found for getting some work done, and I was immediately amazed by their beautiful architecture and great food menu. You can choose from a vast selection of (plan-based) options and get a free coffee or juice! I really enjoy for example the summer roll salad and also their smoothie bowls! The prices also include tax and service already!

• Almond
  One of my favorite coffee shops for a lovely brunch after yoga or to get some work done! The work friendly cafe offers a lot of spots with plugs for charging your laptop and you can enjoy their delicious food while working. All prices are net, so include service and tax already!
  Location: Jl. Munduk Tengah No.4, Pererenan

• Touché
  Somehow this spot got a special place in my heart! I really like working from Touché, their open space, friendly food, delicious smoothies/ food and atmosphere. There are not too many spots available, but if you’re lucky to get one, you will want to spend the whole afternoon working from the beautiful spot. I especially liked the berry smoothie as well as the hummus and bruschetta, which were massive!

• The Sloth
  One of my favorite fully vegan restaurants in Bali! The Sloth offers not only amazing plant-based food (their smoothie bowls are the best on the island in my opinion!), but you can also work perfectly from their open space. It’s a bit hidden and seems inconspicuous outwardly, but the second you go upstairs and try their food, you will know why I am so hyped about this place!

• Secret Spot
  The fully vegan restaurant is one of my favorite spots, especially to work from or chill in the evening. Their Canggu location is open until 11pm and it’s usually quite busy with other digital nomads. Also, it’s a great place to enjoy their plant-based treats, hot chocolate or ice cream. I also came for brunch and enjoyed the chia pudding a lot!

• Front Cafe
  If you can’t decide between brunch and working, go to front cafe and do both! The pancakes with lemon ricotta and berries are just a dream come true and the baristas are more than happy to provide you with your caffeine kick for your working day.

• Barboa Bali
  I discovered this place quite recently as a friend recommended me their coffee. The vibe is super work-friendly (many sockets available) and their coffee is just so so good! Also, their food menu is really nice and you can choose from quite good deals as well!
  Location: Jl. Canggu Padang Linjong No.81, Canggu

• Duatiga
  One of the few spots I tried on the other side of the shortcut. I did like the area downstairs with aircon and a comfortable sofa kind of seating spot. Upstairs it’s a bit warmer but also nice to work from. There were many digital nomads getting their work done and the coffee was also excellent!

• Honey,
  Another great spot in Pererenan where you can combine delicious food with working. The cafe offers a lot of space, however it is often quite busy as working and eating from honey, is quite popular - maybe also because the cafe is offering spots inside with AC (aircon). Still, I really like going there and like the atmosphere for getting some work done.
